Bringing mystery and murder to life in a dramatic tale, this new play challenges the distinction between “right” and “wrong.” In Wednesday’s Child, the investigation into the murder of a surrogate mother explodes the lives of everyone around her.

Mark has written the plays Freud’s Last Session (Off Broadway Alliance Award), Camping with Henry and Tom (Outer Critics Circle Award and Lucille Lortel Award) Relativity, Typhoid Mary, (Time Magazine’s “Year’s Ten Best”) Becoming Dr. Ruth, Dancing Lessons, Best of Enemies, Ears on a Beetle, Scott and Hem, George Washington’s Teeth and Out of Gas on Lover’s Leap. With John Markus he wrote the comedy with music, The Fabulous Lipitones, and with composer Randy Courts the musicals Gifts of the Magi and Jack’s Holiday. Mark co-wrote the screenplay for Carroll Ballard’s film, Duma. He directed and produced the documentary, My Dog, An Unconditional Love Story and wrote the award-winning children’s book Three Cups.
