Grammy nominee David Bromberg brings his singular sound to the Mahaiwe stage on Saturday, April 10 at 8pm. Known for his eclectic combination of blues, bluegrass, jazz, folk, country and western, and rock, he has recorded and performed with a wide range of artists, including country blues master Reverend Gary Davis, the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Chubby Checker, and George Harrison. He can play just about anything with strings - guitar, dobro, mandolin, and fiddle. Impossible to pigeonhole, Bromberg has been acclaimed as an American musical treasure.
