The Mahaiwe is hosting Outspoken, Hope Fitzgerald's writing and performance workshop for area residents who would like to share a story from their life and perform it here for an invited audience. Fitzgerald has spent 20 years as a stage, television, and radio performer in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. She has developed, produced, directed, and taught multiple theatrical programs to novices and professionals of all ages.

Created in association with the UK's National Academy of Science, this magical tale of two children's adventure throughout the galaxy tells the story of the stars and explores the mysteries of the universe.
